It is easy to maintain a clean and tidy pavement surface, and easy for municipal vehicles to clean up such pavements in urban areas, as litter or other debris is no longer trapped in the filled gaps in the pavement.
The joints filled with ROMEX® paving seams easily drain through rainwater, which does not form puddles, and also facilitate urban drainage systems, as rainwater easily passes through the joint into the drainage layers of the pavement.
Grass from a seed brought in by a bird or the wind can build up in the seams over time, but it is easy to clean, for example with a high-pressure water machine. In this case, the normal sand seam has been washed out with the weed, but the seam has remained in place.
